Teamwork is the combined action of a group of people.
Teamwork by itself doesn’t necessarily produce desired results. There’s good teamwork and there’s bad teamwork. A good team walking in the wrong direction, will fail. A good team executing at the wrong time, will fail.
A good team working in unison — towards the same goal at the same time — has the best chance of achieving the desired results.
Every symphony orchestra conductor knows this.
Teamwork is overrated; symphonic teamwork works.
When people use the tired cliche “Go team,” ask them to clarify.
Better yet, stand up and be the conductor.
