Brutal and Brittle

· Writing,Self-improvement,Work

If you choose to be brutal, you can’t afford to be brittle.

People don’t like brutal forces. If they have a choice, people are reluctant to play along with a game built on brutal regulations.

Brutality works for short-term gains. Sooner or later, a stronger threat emerges. Choosing to build a world that values collaboration, insight, and creativity means that brutal forces eventually lose their competitive advantage. They hit walls while the creative class outshines them. Hitting enough walls will deplete the brutal class of their resources.

Forever.
