A rainstorm is ephemeral — it has a beginning and an end. And it’s impossible to determine where the rainstorm begins and ends.
A storm arises when the specific conditions arise. And a storm doesn’t go away, it just becomes something else.
By the time you measure the entire rainstorm, the storm has already changed. Trying to grab a single drop of water to analyze is useless because it doesn’t tell you much about the entire storm.
If you choose to walk out in the middle of the storm, you will get swept away. After the storm passes, you are blown off course trying to find your way back home.
Of course, trends work the same way.
Grab your slickers. Things could get messy.
Or just stay inside.
